IFS inspects, repairs, and installs fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional properties throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Our NICET-certified technicians handle every type of wet and dry system, from quarterly inspections and emergency repairs through new-construction engineering.
Systems We Work With
- Automatic wet and dry pipe sprinklers - the most common system for commercial properties
- Preaction systems - dual-interlock protection for data centers, archives, and cold storage
- Deluge systems - open-head systems for high-hazard areas like chemical storage and aircraft hangars
- Standpipe and hose systems - providing fire department access in high-rise and large-area buildings
- Fire pumps - electric and diesel-driven pumps for properties that need boosted water pressure
- Fire hydrants and backflow preventers - underground supply systems compliant with local water authority requirements
Inspection and Compliance
California law requires regular inspection and testing of all fire sprinkler systems. IFS performs inspections per NFPA 25, the Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. We handle quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections, five-year obstruction investigations, and coordinate directly with your Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Every inspection includes a detailed report documenting system condition, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions.
Why IFS for Sprinkler Work
We hold CSLB C16 Fire Protection and C10 Electrical contractor licenses, and our field technicians carry NICET certifications. As authorized distributors for major manufacturers, we source parts and components directly, reducing lead times and keeping your system in service.
When something fails at 2 AM, our 24/7 emergency line means a technician is on the way, not a voicemail.
